Like the warm vintage sound of tape and an analogue console, as well as loud dynamic masters?
We now have these three brilliant plug-ins from SLATE DIGITAL: FG-X, Virtual Tape Machines and the Virtual Console Collection.
We've been testing them out on various sources and they really do what it says on the tin! So if you like the sound of a vintage Neve console recorded to tape... we can do it here! Digital - Analogue!

A good start to 2015 with yet another great review for Dogstaar from edmsauce.com! This track 'String Theory' was written, recorded and produced here at Copse Corner!
"New for 2015 Ibizia, Spain native, DOGSTΛΛR, has given us a futuristic deep house track that shuffles in an entirely new perspective on the tech / deep house scene. This melodically catchy tune starts off with a bang right from the start with a very progressive intro complete with ambient, space style soundscapes and grabby bass stabs in unison with the four-to-floor beat. This opens up into a trance-pluck-synth accompanied with the perfect amount of reverb and transforms into a beautiful build. This build delves into a mild breakdown before a super-spacey, bass stabby drop fills the void. This track contains so many production elements and are executed perfectly by DOGSTΛΛR. This will be his year in 2015! Keep an eye out for all of his up-and-coming productions!"

A second brilliant review for Dogstaar by edmsauce.com, this time for a track featuring North Devon vocalist Leilah Hoinville. The track was written, recorded and produced here at Copse Corner!
"Spanish producer, DOGSTΛΛR, has been absolutely killing it lately with his new tracks, more specifically, ‘Wishful Thinking’ featuring, Leilah Hoinville. Seriously, this track gives you goosebumps from the very beginning with feel-good chord progressions, haunting vocal effects, acid synths, and rising action. The slight build morphs into dub-style percussion progressions, while well placed electro-wobbles and sound-scape style white noise fill the background to create an absolutely chilled out track that will drag you further and further into your deeper consciousness. This is honestly one of the best songs I have heard in 2014. What a fantastic song to start a new season of EDM."

A great review from EDM Sauce of Dogstaar's track "Another State and Time" that was created here at Copse Corner!
"Spain producer, DOGSTΛΛR, known for his signature, unique electro sound, released the track ‘Another State & Time’, a futuristic experimental electro production that yet again, pushes the boundaries of the EDM world. The track sedates the listener with trance elements while meshing together acid, dub, and house synths into a mystical sounding masterpiece. This song can be enjoyed by anyone in the EDM scene as it includes elements from just about every genre; a feat that very, very, few can accomplish. The production ability of DOGSTΛΛR is absolutely apparent in all of his tracks, but this song exhibits pure creativity at its finest and showcases that he has no problem exploding through production barriers. Look for DOGSTΛΛR to make a huge impact in 2014!"

The studio has now been upgraded with Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 Pre-Amps!
What Focusrite say...
"In addition to six of Focusrite's legendary mic pre's, two of Liquid Saffire 56’s preamps uses the third generation Focusrite’s Liquid Pre amp, providing the choice of ten different preamp emulations. These include emulations based on the Neve 1073, the Pultec MB-1, Telefunken V72 and seven more. A harmonics dial on each Liquid preamp lets you account for variance in vintage originals of the same model, or use levels of 2nd, 3rd and 5th Harmonic distortion creatively to shape your sound."
